Licensing Information
This page walks you through how licensing works at Lola Belle Designs - what you get, what's included, and how to choose the right options for your business.
How Licensing Works
Every design in our hub is available for instant, non-exclusive licensing. Choose your design, select your product category and production tier, and check out — your files are delivered right away. No waiting, no back-and-forth, no minimum order.
In three steps:
- Choose your design from the hub
- Select your Product Category and Production Tier from the dropdown options
- Check out and download — your Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PNG, and JPG files are delivered immediately
What's Included With Every Purchase
- Non-exclusive license to reproduce the design on your products
- No time limit — your license doesn't expire
- All files are: 3600 x 3600px - 300 dpi - RGB
- Full file set: Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Adobe Photoshop (.psd), high-resolution PNG and TIFF
- Instant delivery upon purchase
What's Not Included
- Print-on-demand (POD) use
- Resale, sharing, or sublicensing of the design files themselves
- Use of the design as a logo, trademark, or brand mark
- Use outside your selected Product Category
Choosing Your Production Tier
Your Production Tier determines how many units you can produce using the design. This is a lifetime cap — it doesn't renew or reset over time.
- Tier 1 - Up to 10,000 units
- Tier 2 - 10,001–50,000 units
- Tier 3 - Contact us for custom pricing.
A "unit" is one physical item produced bearing the design (for example, one yard of fabric or one printed item), regardless of whether it's ultimately sold.
Choosing Your Product Category
Your license is valid for use in one Product Category. If you need to use the same design across multiple categories, you'll need a separate license for each.
- Apparel & Accessories Clothing, bags, footwear, hats, scarves, and similar wearable items.
- Home Textiles & Décor Bedding, curtains, throw pillows, blankets, and upholstery fabric.
- Wallpaper & Wall Décor Wallpaper, wall art prints, and wall decals.
- Stationery & Paper Goods Greeting cards, notebooks, gift wrap, and planners.
- Housewares & Giftware Mugs, drinkware, tabletop items, trays, and coasters.
- Packaging & Labels Product packaging, shipping materials, and product tags/labels.
Not sure which category fits your product? Email us before purchasing — we're happy to help you choose. Using a design outside your licensed category isn't covered by your license, so it's always best to double-check first.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the two production tiers?
Tier 1 covers up to 10,000 units total, and Tier 2 covers 10,001–50,000 units. Both are one-time caps for the life of your license, not annual limits. If you need more than 50,000 units, reach out for custom pricing.
Can I use one design across multiple product categories?
Not under a single license. Each license is valid for one Product Category. If you want to use the same design on, say, both apparel and stationery, you'll need to purchase a license for each category.
What file formats do I receive?
Every purchase includes Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Adobe Photoshop (.psd), a high-resolution PNG and TIFF.
The Illustrator file is raster based with the pattern swatch and layers. Photoshop includes the repeat pattern tile with the layers.
Is print-on-demand (POD) allowed?
No. Our licenses do not permit use with any print-on-demand service or platform.
Can I resell or share the design files?
No. Your license allows you to manufacture and sell physical products using the design — it does not allow you to resell, redistribute, or share the design files themselves with anyone else.
Does my license expire?
No. Non-exclusive licenses have no time limit. Your production cap is a lifetime limit rather than a limit that resets over time.
What if I need more units than my tier allows?
You can purchase an additional license, or contact us to discuss custom pricing for volumes above 50,000 units.
Can I get exclusive rights to a design?
Exclusive licensing isn't currently available, but it's coming soon. Join our newsletter to be notified first when exclusive licensing launches.
What happens if I use a design outside my licensed category or unit cap?
This is considered a breach of your license agreement, which may result in termination of your license. Please reach out to us if your needs change — we're glad to help you find the right license rather than risk being out of compliance.
Are sales final?
Yes. Because files are delivered electronically and immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable.
